Baby Christian vs. Mature Christian

Milk vs. Solid Food

We may think someone is spiritually mature when they speak of who they are and list all their accomplishments, but they may not actually be spiritually mature.

It's not about the list that makes us mature.

We need to be active followers of Jesus, not passive.

You could actively study scripture and still be a passive follower.

Intimacy with Jesus vs. just listening.

We can be directly taught by the Messiah through the Holy Spirit.

Jesus may say, 'This is what I say to you today.'
