We're not called to live an Old Testament lifestyle. Jesus came because that wasn't enough anymore. Live in the life of the fullness of grace.
Paul's preached words were simple so everyone would understand. If he preached with eloquence, the power of what Jesus Christ did on the cross would be lost. Fully emptied.
Spiritual depth vs. spiritual details.
The Pharisees had no depth because they focused so much on the details. What matters is obedience.
The depth of your faith has nothing to do with how much you understand scripture or how much scripture you know.
The Spirit of God brings scripture to life in you. No college degree can do this.
Prayer: Lord, make me a new person today through your Word.
