The Law was never meant to be a permanent solution- it was merely a step in God's plan to set us free.
It had to be that way because when we sinned we got exactly what we wanted: and it broke us.
We were given the Law so that we could differentiate between what comes from our sinful flesh and what comes from the grace of God through the Spirit placed within us.
